Successful cooperation:

Wattif and B&B HOTELS focus on sustainable EV infrastructure⚡

The partnership kicked off with the opening of the 5th B&B HOTELS in Vienna-St. Marx in June 2024

Die B&B Hotels Germany GmbH and Wattif are sending a clear signal for the future. As part of the partnership, Wattif will be installing around 100 new charging stations at various hotel locations in Germany and Austria over the coming months. The starting signal was given in Vienna, where 12 charging stations were installed in the underground car park of the new hotel within just three days. This emphasises the speed and efficiency that Wattif brings to its projects.

The full-service model is convincing

Nischhal Pradhan, Business Development Manager Construction at B&B Hotels Germany GmbH, explains the decision in favour of Wattif: “Wattif Europe’s flexible model, in which we can place the operation of the infrastructure completely in the hands of the experts, was a decisive factor in our decision to enter into a long-term partnership. We were also impressed by the speed of implementation.”

A decisive competitive factor

The increasing number of electric vehicles in Germany highlights the urgent need for a nationwide charging infrastructure. According to “Statistischem Bundesamt”, almost 111.000 electric cars were registered between January and April 2024 alone. The total number of new registrations in 2023 reached 524.200 EVs, which corresponds to an increase of 11% compared to the previous year. For the hotel and leisure industry, this means that the availability of charging points will become an important competitive factor.

Advantages for all partners

Wattif not only offers quick and easy installation of charging points, but also takes care of planning, maintenance, operation and billing. And we also keep an eye on future-oriented location development. For hotels, leisure facilities, local authorities and property owners, this means a significant reduction in workload and the opportunity to offer an important service. Managing Director Jörg Koch-Losekamm emphasises: “We are delighted with the decision and the trust B&B HOTELS has placed in us.”

Future-proof solutions for your property

Wattif transforms existing and potential car parks into value-enhancing charging points. With customised partnership models, we create new business opportunities and contribute to increasing the value of properties.
